I’ve been working on as Project Manager on a feature garden since November. If you live in Toronto I’d suggest you come check it out. I’ll be in the African and food themed booth by OCAD and CPAR.
DIY Plush Monster Valentine’s Card. Made with eco-felt and sewed together by hand.
A great site with stunning photography.
Two lovely ladies Sheena Matheiken (the wearer) and Eliza Starbuck (the designer) teamed up on a challenge for charity. Sheena has vowed to wear the same little black dress for 365 days (for hygiene’s sake she has 7 identical dresses made by Eliza) to raise money for Akanksha. Akanksha raises money to give children in India the chance at education. All the funds will go directly to them. You can donate money or hand-made sustainable accessories to the project as well as being able to rate her daily outfits. This project is amazing and proof that one person (or two) can make a difference. I encourage you to check it out.
If I’d asked my customers what they wanted, they’d have said a faster horse.

With New York Fashion Week just ending and spring around the corner a lot of my spare time has been focused on fashion. Stumbling around I found an amazing unisex collection called RAD by Rad Hourani. Think scarves that double as vests and vests that triple as scarves and skirts.
To check out his AMAZING collection check out his website.
